Falcon Creek Industries employs a multitude of staff members consisting of experienced project managers and trades-people, including: Journeyman carpenters, electricians, plumbers, fabricators, welders, millworkers and finishers. FCI has also established long term relationships with a large network of qualified sub-trades to maintain quality standards and deadlines.

Our large staff and sub-trade complement allows FCI to offer clients a 24 hour, 7 day week operation to ensure the achievement of completion dates. The depth of knowledge and experience provides our clients with a solid foundation to draw upon the design, development and construction of their projects.

FCI’s leadership teams are experts in commercial and residential construction including: Large-scale commercial buildings, retail development and refits, home and vacation property builds and shorefront developments.

Colin Durward, President

colin-durward.jpgColin has 16 years experience in the retail, commercial and residential construction industry. For 13 years Colin has provided effective operational and project leadership as the president of Falcon Creek Industries.

Colin is dedicated to maintaining Falcon Creek Industries’ positive reputation and improving the image of the construction industry by meeting clients’ goals while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

By ensuring exceptional service and craftsmanship to a varied international clientele, Colin has expanded Falcon Creek Industries to a position as a large general contracting firm with diversified operations.

Colin has built a reputation for performing to the highest level of industry standards; offering competitive rates, reducing client’s building costs and meeting deadlines.

 

Ken Mardynalka, General Manager – Retail/ Commercial Operations

ken-mardynalka.jpgKen has 10 years of senior leadership experience in the retail/ commercial construction industry directing numerous projects simultaneously valued at up to $80 million on a global scale. He has directed the design of unique distribution centers ranging in sizes up to 150,000-sq.ft. Ken is dedicated to exceeding customer expectations.

With expertise in creating one of a kind and distinguished store locations, he is able to project a highly positive corporate image for retail clients. He is experienced in planning and overseeing construction of Nygard International’s world headquarters in New York as well as several flagship stores and retail locations in: Winnipeg, Toronto, Vancouver, Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Moncton, Calgary, Ottawa and Los Angeles.

Ken’s designs incorporate cost saving strategies through Power Smart rebates, use of LED and CMH lighting and cost effective temperature and ventilation strategies.

His ability to manage a project to meet the strict deadlines and achieve the highest standards for quality assurance is complemented by his vast expertise in retail store development.

 

Colin Kuhnel, Project Manager

b-j-schofield.jpgColin has acquired 23 years of progressive experience within the commercial and residential construction field including a 20 year background in project management. As a hands-on supervisor, Colin has an in-depth knowledge of all construction technologies and techniques to ensure the highest standards in the industry.

Colin has provided leadership on large-scale commercial and residential projects throughout North America. He has expertise in supervising up to 50 personnel in all trades at multiple job sites valued from $100,000 to $42 million. Colin thrives in resolving on-site issues and organizing projects to achieve deadlines, terms of agreement and quality assurance.
